Meet our Team

  • WEN-HAU (CHRIS) KU

Licensed Marriage Family Therapist, LMFT #53326

I focus on building strong marriages and families across multi-cultural experiences. I delight in helping families build a strong foundation of open communication, mutual understanding, and shared goals. I have experience helping individuals deal with various life struggles such as anxiety, depression, self-doubt, guilt, shame, and rejection. Whether you are facing struggles from within yourself or from external relationships and circumstances, I seek to walk alongside you in the midst of your difficulties. I will help you gain a deeper understanding of yourself, new insights into your situation, and practical skills to enable you to deal with your problems in healthy and productive ways. I count it a privilege and blessing to prayerfully help you achieve positive outcomes.

Prior to counseling, I was a teacher for twenty years, teaching preschool, elementary, middle, and high school students in U.S. public schools. In addition, for fifteen years, I served as a volunteer Sunday School coordinator for 100+ preschool through 5th grade children at a Chinese church. I have also taught parenting, dating, and marriage workshops at various Chinese churches and at Stanford University Christian fellowship. I have been married for over fifty years, raised two children, and walked through the peaks and valleys of life. My life experiences -- both the ups and downs -- help me understand what others go through, to better serve you.
