Before pursuing a career in mental health, he spent over five years as a professional chef—an experience that taught him the value of patience, creativity, and connection.
Answering a deeper calling, Daniel became a chaplain, providing spiritual and emotional care to patients and families at institutions including Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, UCLA, and Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital. These years of service deepened his ability to meet people with empathy in their most challenging moments.
Now working toward his license as a Marriage and Family Therapist, Daniel focuses on family dynamics, addiction recovery, and men’s mental health. Fluent in Korean, he is passionate about building bridges across cultures and supporting diverse communities.
Outside of work, Daniel enjoys cooking flavorful meals and relaxing with a good video game. He shares, “I have a passion for helping others and genuinely believe it all starts with listening and having empathy
