    Meet Cynthia, a compassionate and culturally attuned therapist dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of others through social work. Currently pursuing her Master of Social Work (MSW) at National University, Cynthia is on a path towards becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

    Having earned her bachelor's degree in History/Social Sciences from San Jose State University in 2019, Cynthia discovered her passion for social work while studying history. This ignited her commitment to advocating for social justice and providing support to individuals, families, and her community through public services and mental health initiatives.

    As an MSW trainee at Advent Group Ministries, Cynthia is actively gaining valuable experience, contributing to positive change within her community. Her dedication extends to fostering social change and supporting vulnerable populations, reflecting her empathetic approach to therapy.

    Beyond her professional pursuits, Cynthia cherishes her time with family, finding joy in quality moments with her children. She shares special bonding experiences, such as baking cupcakes with her daughter and attending baseball games. Cynthia's multifaceted commitment to both her professional and personal life exemplifies her holistic approach to making a meaningful impact on those around her.
