Danielle is a Marriage & Family Therapist trainee who is a student at Western Seminary on her way to achieving a M.A. in counseling. Danielle began working with children and adolescents in a school setting beginning September, 2022. She practices individual talk therapy as well as group therapy through a variety of artistic expressions (i.e. drawing, painting, dance, and drama).

Danielle has experience working with emotional disturbances such as anxiety and depression. As a therapist, Danielle works with a variety of ethnic and cultural groups and strives to adapt her therapeutic interventions to her clients’ world views.

Danielle is passionate about young people finding their voices and having the freedom to express themselves. As Carl R. Rogers said, “The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.” Expression opens the door to acceptance, and acceptance ushers in the possibility of growth.
