Reaching out for support can be difficult, especially when you feel overwhelmed, misunderstood, or unsure of where to begin. Daniel believes that no two people experience life’s challenges the same way, which is why there is no “cookie-cutter method” to therapy. Daniel believes feeling genuinely listened to is a key foundation for meaningful change. His approach begins with empathy, building trust, and creating a safe space where clients feel comfortable sharing what they are going through.
Before pursuing clinical work, Daniel served as a chaplain at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, where he provided emotional support to children, adults, and families facing grief and trauma. As an MFT trainee, Daniel worked at Discovery Counseling Center for a year, working with adolescent clients and their families. Currently at Advent, Daniel is passionate about working with people from all walks of life.
